Amazon could launch their phone on June 18th

04 June, 2014

There have been talks about Amazon's smartphone for a while now, and it looks like the online retail mega-giant may be releasing their phone this June 18th. How do we know this? Well Amazon has released a rather vague and mysterious invitation for a launch event on the aforementioned date.

Now there isn't much to go on as to what exactly will be announced at this launch event, but there's evidence in the video that came with the invitation that whatever product Amazon is launching may very well have the 3D eye-tracking feature that has been rumored to come with its upcoming phone. Take a look at the video below.

It's also interesting to note that Amazon didn't send out the invitation themselves, but elected instead to have its customers request an invitation from them to see if they can gain access to the event.

Of course all of this phone talk is mere speculation, however, if recent reports are to be believed, and seeing the mystery behind Amazon's upcoming announcement, it will most likely be a big unveil from the company. Stay tuned.
