Himanshu, 25 May 2017

Recently, Google confirmed that Android Pay will soon be launched in 5 more countries, including Russia and Canada. Inline with that, the Russian launch happened earlier this week. And now, we have an expected launch date for Canada as well.

According to a report out of the North American country, Google's mobile payments service will be officially launched there on May 31. The report in question cites sources with access to internal documents on the matter.

While details are scarce, the documents does say the service will work with "major credit and debit cards in Canada," and that it can be used "anywhere contactless is accepted." Also, all NFC-compatible devices running Android KitKat 4.4 and above will be compatible.
