Android Pay said to be launching in UK in March

Himanshu, 29 February, 2016

Google's mobile payments service Android Pay will launch in the United Kingdom in March, according a new report from British newspaper The Telegraph which cites industry sources - the report has been taken down due to unknown reasons.

The service is currently only available in Google's home country of the United States, where it started rolling out back in September last year. In December 2015, the Mountain View, California-based company announced that Android Pay will be launched in Australia in H1 2016.

Over in the UK, Apple's mobile payments service Apple Pay is already available, while Samsung has also announced that Samsung Pay will be launching there very soon.

Its funny AP requires tap but most places in the USA still uses swipe only and they launched in USA first... -_- The USA is so backwards with payement. I was surprised when I visited there and had to swipe. I am so using to just tapping.
