Yes it still works on 3G ! I`m in Romania and my country still don't have 4G . I will buy this ipad with "4g" . It works with 3g.

Major proof, You see YouTube has made their move to HTML5, and we can access it from iOS devices.

ipad is good to use only with 1-2 software.it s an excellent tool for specialized environement like in a cockpit.or maybe for doctors.
it s a screen, not a computer,this is what people dont get it.its a tool, just a piece of hardware used with a laptop or a pc.it will never replace a full computer.
if you buy a pad just to surf the net or play angrybird,get a cheaper android.

If it can't pick up either a 4G or 3G signal, it will attempt to find a 2G signal.

Like all current tablets (Samsung series 7 excepted) it is just a toy. I can't imagine a serious business person actually getting any work done on something that:
1) Has no native printing capability and can't connect directly to a printer via USB
2) Can't connect directly via USB to a mac or PC to transfer files.
3) Doesn't have full desktop PC/mac applications.
So, you see, Apple has somehow created a market that should only exist for gamers and kids. Google has jumped in with Android (a hotch-potch operating system with no foundations and no joined up thinking) to get some market share in Apple's brave new world, but it will all end in tears. Meanwhile, serious business people are still waiting... Maybe the rumoured Nokia windows tablet will be the answer.
Let's hope so.

people want professional tab, not a piece of hardware to play game, sucking battery after 3-4 hours.
ipad is not for kid, is for adult, who like to use their ipad as a professional tool.
airline pilots use ipad, not samsung...guess why?

i m not a fan of Apple for many reasons and above all lack of flash support and user restrictions,but i have been waiting for quite a while for this IPAD, and i have tried the TAB 2,and Asus, and i expected from Samsung at MWC to blow us off with the competition with something that is far more powerful and fast but instead they put the same TAB with ICS and they got frustrated bcz the IPAD3 is stronger;same goes for Asus and Nvidia.so bottom line apple has proven once again with this line of equipment that they are the strongest.
