I was having to reset my iPad 4th gen, because it had issues downloading apps. Not to worry though! I was able to retain some of my data and apps/games.

This was the first iPad I ever owned. I still have it and It still works! As of right now I currently have an iPad Air 5th generation, but I will keep my iPad 4 just in case.

holy cow! the battery was massive on this one. too bad it’s not even energy efficient and dies in an hour…

This is only worth it at this point if all you want to do is:
1) watch youtube via Safari
2) Play N.O.V.A 3 freedom edition (which is the free version & it’s the same as the paid but freedom edition is actually stuck with iPads with 32bit system)
3) quick FaceTime chat with someone (not that the video quality will be good but to be fair, for some reason, Apple continued to use nearly identical selfie camera till now, just without HDR)
4) Install VLC player. This has the ability to allow you to wifi transfer any compatible videos you may have stored up in a external drive somewhere directly into your iPad 4. This would be pretty useful if your iPad 4 has the 128GB, the battery is still relatively decent (or invest in a powerbank or a 3rd party iPad case with built-in powerbank).

i got an ipad 4 wi-fi sealed in ios 6.1.3 last week.
i'll dump the shsh blobs and i will update it to ios 8.4.1

I use this iPad daily. Infact, I'm writing this on my iPad 4. It honestly sucks in 2020 and cannot do some modern tasks and cannot load some websites. Games are laggy or cannot be downloaded. I need to upgrade. However this iPad can do around 75% of the daily tasks I do.
