Anonymous, 18 Sep 2020Why you need faster chip while your screen only 60hz?Apple chips are capable enough to handle high refresh rate. Even, Android midrangers can do that. Why not Apple flagship?? The only drawback of high refresh rate is crucial battery life. He just wants better performance.

The ones i'm still seeing is that from months ago, from Pre-sample. And in that pre-sample tests using Geekbench 5, the A14 scored like about than 30% faster than A12z on single-core, while the A12z scored around 15% faster on multi-core tests again with Geekbench 5. The pre-sample test also compared the chips' GPU and the A12z was shown better by 21%.
Now these are pre-sample tests I've seen before hence my using "might" to my comment you replied to.

Geekbench mark seems to favour the 6 cores on the a14 instead of the 8 cores a12x in muti-core performance. What is special about the bigger iPad is its 120hz screen.
