Or for instance, you buy a flagship RTX 2080 gpu for your pc.. do you complain your 4k display looks dated? - Same old squarish screen.. with some bezels. Not for me!
In fact, there's still appeal for iPhone 8 design.. or iPhone SE. If they beef up the processor, and screen quality.

Pathetic displa... moreYou gotta take note of the sizes of these tablets. The Mini is meant to be a high-end compact tablet; the S5e a budget version of the S5. So the Mini's battery is actually perfect for it's size
Camera (photo and video), display and design-wise you're quite right. Although, the Mini has a higher ppi density (small screen)
One important point: With the S5e having larger area but also thinner, it might be more fragile compared to the Mini (very important, handle with care). I'm guessing the thinness was to experiment on quad speakers, which explains the lack of 3.5 mm jack

(check how many android devices I have in my loved devices compared to how many iOS devices!? an apple fan as you CLAIM wouldn't even add android smartphones!
and remember it's preofficial information. Until it's confirmed GSMarena placed 2GB ram as a placeholder until the REAL amount of RAM is revealed.

The days when we had the choice between four storage options. Now we have two options to choose from, and one of them is too small really, therefore we really have to go with the other. And no expandable memory.

The Galaxy Tab S5e takes the iPad mini in terms of display, camera, battery and design.
