It was possible to play Genshin Impact on the iPad Mini 4, but be warned.. It's very laggy. I saw a video of it and the clouds were not rendering properly.
So I'm assuming that this is a slightly overclocked version of the A8 chip and they never really got the updated Pixel shaders so playing modern games like Genshin Impact may be a problem and that's why.

This the iPad only which has Apple A8 but in iOS 15 lol, so, you could play GTA games on this iPad, but i can guarantee, you cannot play PUBG, Geshin Impact, COD, Asphalt 9 and some other high end games including (GTA DE trilogy) on this iPad. Watching videos is 👍 on this iPad and Music ofc. This iPad really cost low on my country (Bangladesh)…

iPad mini 4 can be worth buying but not really recommended for gaming, can has some trouble of loading the game, laggy in certain types of games

Anonymous, 01 Sep 2023Mine is asking to update to 15.7.8Mine also asked to update the iOS to 15.7 but for whatever reason it always fails. Even resetting the iPad and trying to update the iOS fails. So had to throw it away.

I own one its good for ytube and stuff but it's very bad for work. iOS is 12.57 max and is slow as he-lll. Personally, don't buy one in 2023 there are much better things like iPad air or something else.

This no longer receives iOS updates. Still useable for internet surfing, streaming videos, or managing files but don’t expect for smooth performance as this one is already old.

You really need to look at the specs. Apple Ipad apps are only supported if the ipad runs IOS 10 or above. So any ipad mini from 2nd generation should run apps perfectly fine because as of now they all run IOS 10 and above. Apple Ipad mini 4 runs up to IOS 15 so can definitely run apps.

It was my second tablet. I bought it in mid-2018 for playing games, and sold it in late 2019. I really love this tablet.
