Apple iPad mini 4 nearing, case leak reveals

20 June, 2015

It was only yesterday that we told you that the original Apple iPad mini was pulled off from the company's online store. A subsequent leak now gives us a hint as to the logic behind its disappearance.

A set of live images, portraying what is allegedly a bumper case for the upcoming iPad mini 4, showed up online, courtesy of @OnLeaks. It's commonplace to have case manufacturers a step ahead of the crow in terms of dimensions an layout of new devices, and it's no different in this instance.

Alleged Apple iPad mini 4 bumper case

It's not like there's something revolutional to speak of in these photos though, after all the dimensions of the previous three generations of iPad minis remained the same. If anything, the bumper protector gives credibility to the previous leak, where we were treated to a video of the future tablet's casing.

It's not difficult to deduct then, that the launch of the iPad mini 4 is approaching, and statistically its release is to be expected in the fall.

Split screen, faster processor, and a better display. This is not meant for customers who got an iPad mini 3, bit more for new consumers, or consumers who is ready for an upgrade from the original iPad mini.
