Coming from a lifetime android user here, my experience with the 13 pro max has been truly magnificent. Many things about the iPhone is just so well built and finding the flaws was almost an impossible thing to do. Obviously coming from an android, there are definitely things that I would say that android is better at, like the godly customisation that you can do. You don’t get that with the iPhone. But the one reason why I decided to grab the iPhone is because of battery. I needed a phone where the battery could last long enough, like a 5 hours screen usage is fine as long as the battery can last the whole day. With the iPhone, the battery can last more than a day, sometimes even 2 days, with a long screen usage. That alone already made my experience with the iPhone a truly amazing one. Other than that, performance is terrific, camera’s great, 120hz is consistent as hell, and I can finally play genshin impact without any lag.

If you wait for the 14, you’ll get the famous pill-shaped notched, which can be good and bad at the same time. You’ll get better battery capacity on the new one and probably more camera megapixel count than the 13 pro. If you ask me, go for the 13 pro max since the upgrade for the 14 isn’t that mind blowing, especially if you already own lets say the iPhone X and above. However if you’re from android then go ahead with the 14 if you’re willing to wait a bit longer.

I won't happier to see this new horrific trend seen a final end including 3.5mm headphone jack, which make others unpleasurable and disturbing forever when listening music without headphone jack

i have a sony xz which came out in 2016 its a great phone, pretty quick and all that but lags sometimes and gets very hot i have been thinking of getting a new phone and am considering apple and android i have a budget of £400 for a second hand phone can anyone give me any recommendations?

Battery life works like a scale.
One side you have more advanced Bionic A16 w/new features, the other side must increase the capacity of the battery. Other one side weights out the other and cause downside to the performance & battery life, like Apple did on 12 Pro Max, which had worse battery life than 11 Pro Max (already been verified by lot of YouTubers, so let's not argue here)

That's almost 2 days, do you really need a phone to last beyond this numbers...
