14 Pro Max or Realme GT 8 (China), which one do you suggest guys? I am a bit confused right now.

Been using Sony phones for the last 20 years but my Xperia 5 iii doesn't have Volte and All Canadian Carriers have now switched to 4G & 5G Volte ! I was recently given a mint iPhone 14 Plus with a Maximum Capacity of 92% (amazing) by a family member who upgraded to iPhone 16 pro last month and so far I'm impressed. I like the bigger screen and it's super fast however I just have to get used to the weight ! Not much difference between IOS and Android except for layout. However you can't copy and paste into IOS like you can with Android (I've figured it out though) !
Regarding IOS 26 it's available for iPhones 11 and up but the Apple Intelligence on IOS 26 is only available for iPhones 15 and up even though the A15 Bionic on the 14 Plus could easily handle it ! I'm going to stick with IOS 18.7.1 for the time being till all the bugs are fixed with IOS 26 and 26.0.1 and IOS 26.1 is in bata testing right now and the stable release should be out in November 😁🤞 !!!

Upgraded from an iPhone 11, loving the large display, smooth operation. The battery life is top tier. I opted for this over the 14 pro max just because it does everything I need. I'm not a pro user so I didn't see the point of buying a pro phone when I have the same display and battery capabilities for a cheaper price.

I am using this phone for more than 1 year. I am fully satisfied with the batter backup. After 18.1.1 updates, I found below issues;
1) Phone not responding for sometime and restarted automatically (for simple task like to make a call) - occured once so far.
2) No resent call entries made
3) Every time it asked to enter the passcode mentioning as it is restarted.
I did a manual restart of my phone and now it works as like previously and will update if I found anything further....

My mom had this iphone for i think a year now, AND IM LOVING HOW SMOOOOOOOTH IT IS, literally, it updates to ios 18 ;), the only problem is not having the dynamic island :(

It’s basically the iPhone 13 specs repackaged. Just a bigger screen. Which is how upgraded me, I do like the bigger screen, and have gotten updates. It’s a good phone yea but the sold me the same specs just in a bigger screen. I wish I had stayed with my ip13, now I feel like iv been cheated. That’s no way to do a customer.. y’all can think what you want to. Best wishes.
