Sk, 08 Dec 2022Base model 14 is the best among the 14 series because i hav... moreif you wanted better value for money, the 14 is literally the worst option. basically the same 13 from last year but with marginally better thermal management and slightly better camera software that only comes out when you zoom 10x or more. if you want good value for money, buy the S20 ultra refurbished or 13 pro if you're dead set on an iphone.

Base model 14 is the best among the 14 series because i have iphone 14. No pro no max only 14😍😍 not useful dynamic island pro models are tpp heavy better to go with base models save money

Minimum focus distance for the main camera is awful. Some 3rd party apps cannot use the UW cam, scanning small QR codes or other things isn’t seamless.
The AI exerts a lil bit too much on photos, especially for selfies which become different from what we see in camera app preview (pre-shots).

I was a loyal iPhone user since they initially released it and switched to Android in 2020, will never go back. iPhones bore me now. Same thing every year, simple and seamless, yet restrictive UI. I have an ROG 2 and it trump's the 14 Pro.

You will get updates for 5 years plus, on top of security updates.
You get access to tons of accessories.
You get best of mobile apps and immediate patching of bugs.
You get best troubleshooting and support.
Since you came from A series Samsung, i do believe you also face this issue; walk in to any shop.. ask about A53's casing or screen protector.. you get either no such model.. or very few and limited options or they cost a premium to stock.
But of cost you will have to build up iOS Apps and a new way of using phone, as it is a different platform.

Yesterday I was in the store to try out the new iPhone 14 Pro. What I was wondering is if it is possible to pull down the Notification Center from the „dynamic island“ like it was for the notch. That is not possible because the „dynamic island“ just moves a bit Tonsignal that there is currently no action to be done here. That means, you have to reach up all the way to the upper edge above the dynamic island, where the earpiece is, and swipe down from there for the Notification Center. This makes it even harder to operate with one hand. I don’t know when this madness will come to an end. I guess the iPhone 8 with comfortable rounded sides AND a compact size AND a light weight was really the peak of iPhone design. Luckily the iPhone SE 3 exists …
