Wow, I'm a true apple hater (I just hate this company for its extreme greed), but I have to confess - this is first time the new iPhone camera is truly the king. The previous generations were good, but never the best. This time is different - the photos from all cameras are outstanding - detailed and sharp, but not oversharpened, with accurate colors, great white balance. First time ever for new iPhone launch, I'm impressed.
I hope Samsung will not fail with S23.

Best ultrawide lens and sensor I've seen on a phone so far, better than that of my digital camera's. The static "dynamic island" is just too discouraging and annoying to look at, though. 😅

Great phone, no doubt, but the battery is just terrible for this day and age. When there's a more important aspect to improve and spend more budget on R&D, that's battery technology. Because no matter how good a phone is, when it's out of power when you need it the most (crucial times), it's just a brick.

JB, 24 Sep 2022The photo (48 MP RAW) and video quality of the Pro Models t... moremi 12s ultra with leica authentic looks clearly better. these 48mp or ones downscaled to 12mp look good, but it's sunny day so most phones would do well (some with larger sensor even better if their RAW output is taken and downscaled), and there's hassle to achieve that downscaling in iphone vs a simple mode in 12s ultra. sadly gsmarena doesn't do high resolution and downscaling for low light, where 12su would clearly have advantage with larger sensor.
oh and this overly repeated myth of apple being the choice for content creators... without hp jack and microSD slot, none would be good for this purpose, but at least 12su seems to have best camera so far. Sony is better on other things but falls short on camera ironically. lets see what their pro model does this time.

CroCro, 22 Sep 2022I've used both Android and iOs, and I always returned ... morePerfectly agree with you here, not having a location toggle to turn off in the control centre, cant adjust the keyboard height, no back swipe option in the keyboard app to delete text, dreadful procedure to set a ringtone, no app lock, no parallel storage options. Can keep adding on. That said the camera algorithm is really good on the iPhones

3) things that makes iphone14 pro stressful.
(1) the dynamic island-: To me the dynamic island is not a good feature or better than the notch found on the previous iphones cos with the notch you can access your background running apps vertically using the swipe gestures but on the iphone 14 pro it's now relocated to that island making it stressful to access cos you have to keep tapping on the island in other to visit the background apps which is a very bad implementation to me.
(2) the eSim-: apple claim that the esim is the most secure way to go since you cannot lose your sim on the iphone in the hand of a thief, the question is has there ever been a thief who have successfully unlock a stolen iphone?🤔 well to me that's a trash statement cos iphone has been a very secure smartphone even with the physical sim in it, not even a thief can break into your iphone when it's been stolen except the thief has your password.
(3) the hype-: apple products are too over hype why because they pay so much for it. 😁

Different in CAM and Cpu from 13 but it’s many different to switch 14 , apple become more poor in New technology 😞

I've used both Android and iOs, and I always returned to Android.
Iphones are really smooth, level of engineering and build quality is superb, best components, evosystem is far better than Android but....day to day usage is a pain in the a*s, and it's all down to software.
Animations are too slow and there is no workaround to make them faster (besides jailbreak).
Face unlock is great, but i have to say latest Huawei models are even better, especially in the dark.
Keyboard customization is dreadfull (even third party keyboards are not enough to make it completely user specific)
Notifications are still behind Android, especially "quick reply" feature etc.
File management and sharing is still cumbersome.
I'm not gonna mention any lack of homescreen customization, some people like it, some don't even think about it....this is only my opinion concerning everyday usage. I can really do any task much faster and simpler on Android than iPhone.
But there is one thing where iPhone is much much better in my opinion, and that's camera performance. Ok, you can take better photos on some Android flagships, but the level of realiabilty and speed, details and sharpness "on the go" with iPhone's camera is still unmatched by and other phone.
Since iPhone 13 Pro lineup, they've nailed everything, performance, battery life, camera...but not software simplicity, it's simply not that intuitive...it's too simple. which still makes it the "dumbphone of the smartphone world"

Never really understood the fight between Android and iOS fanboys and girls. If you hate one or the other and never going to buy it then why degrade each other? At the end the corporates just needs our money and apart from camera and maybe navigation we won't be using any features that often.
