First time splurging huge money on a phone. Got my old 11 after a year for a very good price but that display got annoying and super old quick

The dynamic island looks interesting (although lame name).. but man apple are making their fans pay through the nose.. who would bother with the 14 unless your on a iphone 12 or earlier and or your after the pro/ pro max essentially for the 'dynamic island'.. $1750au at cheapest..sheeeshh. ridiculous

It's not as useful as ultrawide.Actually telephoto camera is way more useful, with 24mm wide cam is already really wide and any lower than 24mm is already considered UW territory by any camera standard, on the other hand with 75mm you get perfect camera for portrait shots, and far away objects

iphone 14 and 14 pro... for the size, cameras and price... i guess, for the time, i'll stick with my xperia 5iii and wait for the next year 5v
