The iPhone used to cost around 200$ more in Sweden, which is completely logical. Now they cost 400$ more. The crazy part is that iPhone 13 cost more now than when it first came out. I don't understand how an old phone could cost more now than when it was brand new.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 managed to get 9 hours and 18 minutes in usage time / screen on time there while the iPhone 13 Pro Max got 10 hours and 35 minutes.
So the iPhone 13 Pro Max doesn't really have THAT much more battery life compared to how boring it is to use compared to the Z Fold4 :-)

S22 ultra already lost by two hours to 13 Pro Max, try more like 5-6 hours more compared to Fold 4.

Not worth the upgrade from 13 Pro. Doubt cameras are that much better, and the only interesting feature is the Dynamic Island thing. More expensive than 13 Pro in Europe, and uses Lightning still. The satellite probably won’t be usable in Europe, too, and who knows what will be with Crash Detection here too.

I'll take 7-8 hours of screen on time (like I get on it) with the absolute best gaming, web surfing, multimedia and app usage experience over having 2 hours more screen on time with way more boring or worse usage experience.

Why does it have a 48MP camera if it can't record in 8k? Isn't that the point of increasing the megapixels, so it finally have 8k recording like it's android counterparts?
