People buying these are most probably using a 60Hz screen anyways since they coming from an older model. You maybe right for those who already tried it, but there are so many people buying regular iPhones which all have 60Hz and their eyes still didn't pop out. Lol. Jk. That thing is not important for users buying regular iPhones, not the Pro version which are for geeky ones.

                It's amazing how $150 phones can have 90Hz screens and this brand new smartphone from Apple is still on the ancient 60Hz screens. Legend says they got stuck on the naming scheme...

                It doesn't even affect battery life much, I subjected myself to the pain of 60Hz on my 120Hz Android phone for a day or two and it had the same screen-on-time of 11-12 hours, someone needs to tell them that it's a huge dealbreaker, if you used a high refresh rate display before, you really can't go back

                  The plus is still a ripoff like last year
                  You're paying the same price as a 14 pro max for a 1 year old chipset and 60hz

                      Sheep099, 13 Sep 2023Is it worth it to upgrade from 13 to 15?I think waiting until next year for the 16, or 2 years for the 17, is probably the better option instead of upgrading to the 15.
                      Though the 15 is alright, next year they should bring over USB3 to the vanilla phones IF they keep the USB3 controller while cutting down the A17 Pro chip, and the 17 should bring 120Hz if the leaked timeline remains correct.

                              So you’re paying this heck of a price for an A16 bionic chip.
                              I would’ve liked this strategy: For vanilla series, A(x) chip, for Pro series, A(x) Pro chip. But who knows, maybe they’ll do that in iPhone 16 series?

                              Also, regarding the 60hz display. iOS is not android and it’s much smoother. I have an iPad with 60hz display and it didn’t feel sluggish. Apple also guesses that gamers will buy the Pro series if they wanted to game, so this is stuck at 60hz. Would’ve liked at least 90hz though
