Are you a phone gamer and so on. If your 13 Pro let you down your expectations on it, you should probably upgrade it. Or, if you just do basic tasks, like making a phone call, text messages, basic games which does not use a lot of CPU, GPU and so on, then use the 13 Pro until the IOS update ends. For example, in 2023, the following iPhone models are expected to no longer receive iOS updates:

iPhone X
iPhone 8
iPhone 8 Plus
iPhone SE (1st generation)
iPhone 7 and 7 Plus
iPhone 6 (S) and 6 (S) Plus
iPhone 5, 5S, and 5C
iPhone 4 and 4S

ianik, 13 Dec 2023This or the samsung S24 ultra 256 GB? and why? If you live in the US or if most of your family and friends are using an iPhone, go with this ofc.

If you want something that only "seems" cool but is rather mid overall than go for the S24 Ultra. Both would have a 5x it seems and the 10x of the S24 is only usable in good lighting/daylight but is still a cool feature along with the S Pen. However, Samsung has a huge amount of ads in its operating system, the phone's display is inferior to Apple as it has an 8 bit panel and does NOT support the Dolby Vision HDR format. The Galaxy has worse video on all lenses in all conditions be it daytime or night time and the camera is overall inferior to the iPhone due to the overprocessed and "vivid" nature of the photos and the slower shutter speed and generally inferior photos. You can get the "pop" of the Galaxy's photos by using Apple's photographic styles or the vivid filter anyways. Battery is at best the same or mostly in favor of iPhone but charging is faster on the Galaxy. Additionally apps such as Instagram will have better quality photos and just a better experience overall on the iPhone. However, the iPhone would make it a huge pain for you if you use non-Apple products so you MUST keep that in mind.

If you want something "wacky", which i mean in a bad way here, go for the Galaxy, if you want a good experience, but not necessarily great one since Apple's software has started to become buggy and problematic over the past few years, go for the iPhone.

Remember, the reason people are excited about a 7 year old Android feature coming to iPhone, is not because they like to pretend Apple invented it. It's because they have been waiting 7 years to enjoy that feature without having to deal with all the bugs, glitches, crashes, freezes, and bloat of Android. The problem isn't that Apple is bad or good or outdated or new, the problem is that the LITERAL only alternative (android) is a completely, entirely unusable mess.

Bamz, 29 Nov 2023Typical stupid people would say clearly you can’t afford it... moreYou are making a valid point ☝️ i see no reason i should invest on Apple product with outrageous prices when other android brands can definitely suit my needs, there are still better android phones you know, but the hype Apple product gets is crazy 🤣

Hoping something new on the next generation iPhone is a 19:9 aspect ratio instead of 19:5:9 or 13:6 because it's been many years since the iPhone X until 15.

Well, benchmarking means to rate something according to a standard. If the iPhone scores suck, then it might well mean that they aren't built for it. Some benchmarks are more inclined to Android, others to Apple. In terms of my eval, I recall seeing a similar performance in non-software-dependant benchmarks. I may have exaggerated a little bit.

As insinuated earlier, by you and AnTuTu, Android has the better take on the software part. Anyway, sorry for the misunderstanding. That was not my point, but more than...well idk. They both have their good parts. The comparison was wrongly put there.

The iPhone 14 is better 'cause you don't have to buy the new USB-C cable. The new chip has similar performance as the 14 Pro Max's A16 Bionic and you'll turn out with more expenses than it's worth. I see nothing wrong with the AnTuTu evaluation - the iPhone has its good sides - but when you're saying that it's the "all-new best SoC", I'm expecting something more, especially from Apple. If you're switching from an Android, it's the best choice. But maybe wait a little, so the price drops👍
