There are fad too many variables to take in... morethey know that glass is glass. but iphone back glass repair isn't cheap and they are damn fragile. even worse, they integrate wireless charging into the back glass !! pathetic at best. i guess iphone 14 series were the last series with separated wireless charging component. apple is trying their best to make repair even more difficult.

          oldestasianvivousers, 23 Oct 2023guess what? those "self proclaimed" overrated fan... moreAccording to drop tests also my last 13 Pro was meant to break with just one drop, i think i dropped it 5 times in 2 years and didn't crack the glass and i have never used cases with my phones and i've never cracked the glass. You never know how it goes when you drop the phone, with bad luck it's one drop and someone else can drop many times. It depends where it hits. Just like i can find many different results with drop tests depending which one i look.

                      Pixel 8 Pro way better than this shower of crap. Using my Pixel 8 Pro even on full resolution at 50mp does not affect dynamic range at all. And details are amazing even at 10x to 15x zoom. Apple is a yawn fest

                        DUDE... APPLE has to make money... so ofc they would make it 899 even tho it costs 500 to manufacture. this is due to the apple reputation. and it is fast in screen,cpu, and videos... Apple is popular among due to also being premium

                            Nice phone it costs 558 dollar to manufacture so Id pay 850 dollar max for this. They have profit of nearly 300 dollar per unit in that case and not a profit of like 900 dollars. Also R&D is mainly software oriented since we know this design from iPhone 12, meaning they earned back R&D for design way before even iPhone 13 was out. So that is no issue to take in for calculation of total costs. Besides selling a cable for 127 or so dollar is simply insane. I use iPhone 12 so I am in no way a Apple hater or basher. Just saying some simple facts to take in consideration that you are completely scammed when you pay that much for this phone. Also the pro max model costs just 35 dollars more to manufacture compared to the small pro model but the price difference is hundreds of dollars lmao.

China isn't biggest country for iPhone, US is. And there the sales are very high which can compensate rumoured lack of sales in China, if that's even true.

Where Apple will win big this year is removing the 128GB Pro Max, meaning that their ASP will probably rise significantly, profitability will be incredibly healthy.
                                Hopefully Apple do fix their supply chain early enough for the holiday season though!

                                Glad I got my 15 PM quickly, went for a 512GB model this time which tend to be more in stock, I think many will be pushed to 512GB and even 1TB, which could mean a jump in ASP.
