Thinking of switching to Apple this year. I have always been using Android. My current phone is the Samsung Note 10 plus. I used to upgrade every 2 years. I stopped after the N10+, I just don't see any significant or useful new features on new phones. But my phone's been real slow these days...
My sister still uses her iphone 7 and 8, and my mom still uses her XR, both working faster than my note 10+ 😅 I thought I'd give apple a try this year. I see some comments saying 14 Pro Max still ok/better, but I do prefer buying the latest mod3l if that doesn't make much difference in price and specs. Maybe someone here can enlighten me. 😅

Even the USB-C is an 11+ year thing, these users will believe USB-C on iPhone is the best and only one that is fast when they don't even have one packaged with a charger, let alone charge faster than 15W or even retains battery health (not charge) longer than any midship android phones.
Imagine 1 year and your iPhone's battery health is down to 80%, let alone 3~4 years down.
Btw all iPhone 14 users shld be experiencing shit battery hold as now 15 is released, forcing idiots to upgrade and spend their money to fund Apple and to fund for WW3.

Why Apple and every influencer/reviewer lying about new larger sensors, Main and Ultrawide uses the same sensors from 14 Pro Max.
Apple said in the presentation for the 15 Pro “a larger 48mp sensor”, but they also show 2.44 micron pixels which is the same size pixels as the 14 Pro. Every video I have seen repeated “larger sensor,” except the Max Tech video which said it’s the exact same sensor.
Also same with those "multiple optical range" which is just sensor crop.
As always Apples marketing at its best, that is such a nasty and cheap lying trick, but it works knowing the majority of consumers.

So many reasons to avoid Samsung; longevity, reliability, security, resale value, need I say more. I had nothing but problems with my Note 10, actually the best phone I have owned was a Microsoft so sad developers ignored it.
