I thought this was going to change my mind but it's still a disappointment to me, am officially switching to Google pixel phones , I think apple is now failing to offer us new exciting stuff.

Love how absolutely NONE of you got the point.
The point isn't that Apple "invented" USB-C or anything. The point is that for the first time since 2015 (lumia 950XL), we no longer have to deal with malware like Android if we want USB-C in our phones.
THIS is the true reason why people get excited about new iPhone features despite they've been in android phones for so long. Because the operating system is malware. Your android phone can have the greatest specs in the planet, you could jam an RTX 5090 inside an android phone for all we care, but the phone will still be useless to us, because it's running Android, and therefore basic features such as contact syncing or phone calls do not work.
I spent 3400$ on Android phones from Samsung, Xiaomi etc. trying to find a SINGLE phone that could run outlook. The only one that worked is iPhone. If you want to see every phone i've ever owned, check my profile.

Apple is becoming like Android and Android is becoming like Apple. This is why Android is losing. Most people will pick Apple by default unless Android can give something truly unique and desirable.
So Android companies should bring the following things : Headphone jack, SD card slot, zero bloat OS (no mandatory apps), flagship chips at $600 price point, 5 years of OS and 7 years security updates, fewer models for better support (no more 15 different Redmi Note models per year), better and cheaper repairability, replacable batteries, LED notification, notchless/hole-less screens, flat screens and sharp flat sides and corners, small 5.5"-5.8" options, 16:9 screen ratio options, high quality DAC, front facing speakers.
All of this is just the beginning. These are just simple features that already exist and can be easily implemented. On top of this, Android needs to INNOVATE and build brand new desirable features that iPhone doesn't have.

iOS runs only on iPhones, so the OS is the only one optimized with the hardware.

I like everything except 24 mp res being the default resolution for taking photos.
Part of my job is to upload photos on portals where max size limit is 8 mb.
Which would that either I have to download another camera app or resize the photo every single time.
An unnecessary and bothersome step

Now IPhone is beyond competition thn Android.
It have ois in selfie camera and 3nm chip,
6 core gpu, iPhone 4 core gpu is faster thn Android 8 core gpu and it has 6 core.
It is beyond imagination.
Android can't make phone like this iPhone in next 5 years.
