As for gamers, what alternatives do they have to flagship phones when they're out and about?
I didn't write photographers, I wrote photography enthusiasts. No photographer will change the camera he/she works with for a phone camera.
Gamers, photography enthusiasts and power users are a small percentage of all users, but they're somebodys and they need flagship phones.

Worse, i read today googoo step back for apk and enforce gplay through api. Same as apple in the end.
Bad time for freedom, for IT, for 'poorer' people. But very, veryw very lucrative time for the rich enforcing those.

They haven't fix the modem yet, Apple is just milking people who are not tech savvy, most of apple's customer are not tech savvy, these are people who just need a phone that can call and clear voice calls. other than that 90% of the features are just bonus, or not even used by these apple customers,
what i mean apple customers
these are people that don't know tech
not an influencer,
not a tiktoker (if this even a word)
not a person who relies on affiliate marketing and post their content on youtube to get monetize.
not a content creator
these are just only 5% of apple customers
the 95% of apple customers are not tech savvy, they either have money to spare, money from savings, credit installments, and take advantage of the trade-in programs.
so there you have it folks

Nobody buys an S24 Ultra because they "need" it, not even the 7 year update policy is much of a reason to call it a "need to buy" phone. You don't need the 120 or 144 or 165 or even 240 hz refresh rate either you're correct, but you've got to keep in mind that this is a 800-900 dollar phone, given that the competition uses 120hz and trust me, truuust me when i say this: 120 hz is so nice to use compared to 60hz, there's no point in not having it, and there would be more people who would buy a vanilla or plus iPhone over some androids if it just had a 120 hz display, perhaps the biggest issue is that the display hasn't changed at all this year on any of the iPhone 16 models.

Leaving pros and pro maxs Samsung can win against vanilla models yet they dig their own holes. S23 is a hit phone bcoz of snapdragon but coming next to s24 why exynos (most of countries) If it used 8g3 in other markets than us then it can get more sales. I m from india many r interested in s24 only exynos chip is the reason they r choosing iphone over s24. Samsung should stop making exynos chips coz even mtk dimensity is much much better than theirs and start focussing on better marketing than they can easily win over iphones. But never changing things from universe are iphone 60hz and samsung exynos
