Apple iPhone 16 launch event is officially set for September 9
Well, the rumors were close, but not right on the money. It turns out that Apple's unveiling event for the iPhone 16 family is taking place on September 9. The company has started sending out the media invites today.
As you can see, the tagline is "It's Glowtime". The event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park at 10 AM local time. That's 5 PM UTC, 1 PM in New York, 6 PM in London, 7 PM in Paris and Berlin, and 10:30 PM in India.
At the event, Apple is expected to not only present the new iPhone 16 models, but also the new Apple Watch Series 10 (or Apple Watch X), and new AirPods.
As always, pre-orders for all of the devices that will be announced should go live right as the event ends after an hour or two, with the first batch of countries most likely seeing the products released on September 20, according to the latest rumors.

I don't get why they don't put a 90hz refresh rate on the base iPhone because that would be enough to make iOS smoother, but still not the top of the line level
