Anonymous, 06 Oct 2024What you laugh? 120Hz it's just an useless gimmick.Until all of the iPhones have it, then it will be the best thing since sliced bread.

Should i wait for the iPhone 17, rumors says it has 120hz 6.3 inch upgradable 24mp selfie cam and AOD or buy this now?

Master Blaster, 08 Oct 2024You obviously have never used a 120hz display, Scrolling ... moreI’ve just moved from a iPhone 13 Pro Max and prior to that I had a galaxy s21+

Both those phones had 120 refresh - maybe my eyes aren’t upto much but I genuinely don’t see that much difference.

Don’t get me wrong there is a difference and yes, it would be better if the standard and plus iPhones had 120 rather than 60 refresh - I get why reviewers have to highlight the 60 refresh issue, but folk banging on about it being a dealbreaker are over the top.

As the plus model is so close to the pro in many ways, to me it just wasn’t worth the extra £300 to get the better cameras, better microphones and 120 refresh and I suspect for many consumers that will be the case.

120hz is a lot of fun but I personally find it too addictive and battery consuming. I'm fine with 60hz. less is more.

Scrolling is way smoother than a 60hz display.

It is interesting to note that on better phones, 60Hz does look better and smoother than on budget phones. If my s21 fe can handle it and it is not such function deterioration, I am certain that iPhone 16 plus can handle it either.

this is the definition of iPhone X but in 2024, i use a nothing phone 2a

Momie , 25 Sep 2024Samsung is not radiating when not in use. iPhone is. So, S... moreiPhones, like most smartphones, emit small amounts of electromagnetic radiation when they are on, even if not in active use. This is because they constantly maintain connections to cell towers, Wi-Fi networks, and Bluetooth devices. However, the radiation levels are very low and are regulated by international safety standards set by organizations like the FCC and ICNIRP, which are designed to prevent harmful exposure.
It's important to note that there's no conclusive scientific evidence that the low levels of radiation emitted by phones are harmful to humans.

I’m really happy with this phone, personally don’t care about 60hz. Have had 120hz android phones where I would force it to 60hz to save on battery lol. Performance and battery life on this 16 plus is really good as well.
