compare iphone 15 pro to iphone 16 pro there is hardly a difference been the same for years now whats the point steve jobs innovation definitely missing here he would not have let it get this boring he would have changed all this probably a complete different style of phone by now....

So we're back to almost 200g, just like iPhone 13-14 Pro. Seemingly because of the tetraprism camera. Meanwhile, iPhone 16 is a gram lighter than 15 again, down to a more delightful 170g. At this point, the weight difference is too big to ignore and is a legitimate advantage of iPhone 16. Now it also has macro and the A18 with probably 8GB RAM seems to be much closer to A18 Pro, which probably has 8GB RAM as well. About time for iPhone 17 to include ProMotion with Always-On and then there is no real reason apart from niche camera features (together with LiDAR, this should be on the standard as well at some point imo) and design for the Pro models.
