The pricing of this phone is sooooo disappointing.
Rather just buy a used iPhone 15 instead..

600$ for 128gb. That’s no less than 750 where I’m located. For that, I can get the iPhone 14. Ok, on the 16e, there’s the latest chipset, action button more versatile than the old switch, one higher resolution camera with 2x optical zoom, which is probably a crop from the 48mpx with some software work, more software updates since it’s a new model.
But I can’t help but thinking that there’s some quality cuts inside with these lower cost iPhones. It’s not that as simple as the latest chipset in a simpler wrapping.

So much money for the “basic” phone. One must be crazy willing to spend this money on a basic phone. Not even to mention the 512GB version, just wow.

Those are such potato specs for that price tag, but then again the average apple consoomer does not mind being ripped off.
