Gsmarena in the past you have wrote iphones have TOF 3D for biometric now you change it in SL 3D.. I have notice that for all iphones that have Face ID like 12 13 14 etc...I know that SL is structured light but explain why did you change iphone biometric from TOF 3D to SL 3D ??

A rational person knows that the iPhone 16 is completely worthless compared to the 16 Pro, but Apple has mocked the rational person by introducing the iPhone 16e and the way it is priced. This is what big companies do: "Keep consumer expectations low"
And we do nothing (we can't do anything) because we have entrusted our intellect and intelligence to these companies.

this phone has the same price as iphone 15 in my country, despite being 2 years old it is still far superior, price makes no sense

Well, no. people usually buying these lowered priced iPhones as the cheapest way to get into iOS ecosystem. or because they already are there, just want to get the newer model.
The issue is that this phone is too expensive for all of the above mentioned categories. We can talk about inflation and all that, but others have the same problem so there's not much excuses left for Apple.
People have always been baffled with iPhone users and fans because even blind man can see the difference in numbers, right? Right...because numbers in two different systems are so much accurate... Sorry for the sarcasm lol. But its not that simple as black and white. This debate will never be over. Ill just say this...
If you want to understand about something you will give your best. Android or iOS is a choice. If you want an Android, plenty of choices. If you want iOS, not many choices and this 16e is the lowest priced one. It's nit meant to "battle" with other similar priced Android phones... Lol.

There is very low difference with iPhone 16e and iphone XR. Both are same model but XR have batter depth sensors.

Anonymous, 04 Mar 2025even the cheaper Samsung A55/A56 are using larger sensor 1/... moresensor size is not all there is to it lol, you can find camera comparison between the a56/16e which clearly shows latter doing better/more detailed shots in every possible light condition. also, if you like samsung or any other phone, why bother coming here to whine? just use it proudly and be happy. the obsession to come at iphone is hilarious tbh
