Due to the age of the phone, even web browser games frequently crash due to lack of ram. Minimum recommended is use new and modern entry-level phone. But Recommended is use mid-range phone or 4-6 years old flagship phone like Apple iPhone 11 or iPhone 12…

            My experience of using the iPhone 6s Plus. What is the most happiest is holding a phone. Holding a phone looks like I am holding a flagship phone. Battery life is modest, but get my job done. The Touch ID make me feel like I am in 2015-2017 era where home button fingerprint is norm. The iOS 15 still good in 2025. Meaning install many apps and games on App Store. Some essential apps and games like Microsoft Copilot can’t even use it which is ok because I am use web version. Apple A9 is older but holds up but can’t beat the Snapdragon 680 and MediaTek Helio G95 I am using phone previously. Overall I am impressed holding the phone only and better then Redmi Note 10S, Samsung Galaxy A23 and Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt and even previous phone terms of feeling. Also I am using uncle Apple Account because I am doesn’t meet the minimum age requirement of Apple Account and if I am installing unpurchased apps and games, I am need to put my uncle Apple Account passwords…

                              Unfortunately, iOS 15 will no longer receive security updates for iPhones that don't support iOS 16 include: iPhone 6s, iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, iPhone SE (1st gen) and the iPod Touch (7th gen)

                                  I paid cash for my 6s + in September 2015 and I'm still using it as my primary device as of March 2024. I've replaced the battery three times, starting in 2018. Never broke the screen or anything else, and while its due for another battery it still runs quite well.

                                      iOS 15.8.2 has been released to devices that don't support iOS 16, and that includes the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.

                                      I'm surprised that the iPhone 6s is still getting updates.

                                      I'll update to 15.8.2 later, Security updates are nice but I'll update soon since I'm a bit busy doing something.
