Some applications just refuse to install, like Microsoft Outlook, Office 365, Garage Band etc
It says because the iOS is outdated.
Never had this problem even with old phone running Android 8

Loving this phone. Still using this phone alongside my Samsung Galaxy s24 ultra. Although now mostly using for phone calls & text only.

My iPhone 8 still works fine although i use 2 phone. My other phone is Poco F3.

A low end Android still gets Google Play protection for 10 years from the day of launch for the particular Android version, and it does a better job in protecting a smartphone from security threats unlike Apple's cumulative update policy. This condition is only valid for Play Protect-certified devices, meaning this would be invalid for generic Chinese phones (also rebranded for so-called West-headquartered companies like Blu, NUU and Freedom phone) from obscure brands. So your comment doesn't make sense to why an Apple product is a better purchase over the other.
The only thing justifiable about this phone is the 16:9 display. Even the measly battery that would die within 2 and a half hours with the screen on wouldn't make this a better purchase, either.
