                    I believe the Battery Health “Maximum Capacity” on my iPhone 8 Plus goes down slower because most of the time I charge it at a standard 1 amp rather than fast charging it at higher amps and the other thing I do is I stop charging it by 89% when I can and I also try to avoid letting the battery go down too low (40%+ is optimal apparently) when I can. My Maximum Capacity is 85% and I’ve had the phone for a little over 3 years now.

                    Is 15% in 3 years pretty good or just average?

                      As I’m sure some of you already know, the A1864 models have a Qualcomm modem (rather than an Intel modem) and support “TD-SCDMA 1900 (F), 2000 (A) and CDMA EV-DO Rev. A (800, 1900, 2100 MHz)” (unlike the A1897’s) in addition to GSM.

                      It wasn’t easy finding a brand new A1864 in 256GB and (PRODUCT)ᴿᴱᴰ but I found one. The A1897’s are easier to find and more common (in my experience) but they don’t support CDMA.

                        I bought two iPhone 8 Plus’ three years ago now, one for me and one for my mum. My mum has an A1897 model and I have an A1864 model (the only difference is the modem) which are both 256GB and (PRODUCT)ᴿᴱᴰ and I just want to say that they’re great phones, even today.

                        Apple decided to make iOS 16.x.x the last supported version but with a jailbreak I believe one can install iOS 17+ but don’t quote me on that.
