imRGZ, 25 Sep 2017If you want quality apps then you have to pay. That's same ... more1. Google collects data by default but provides setting for you to opt out of targeted Ads(i.e. based on your info) and will only show generic ads then. Quality has nothing to do with ads most apps ask you to pay just to remove ads, not much is offered in their paid version, so it's same app but without ads. Again you can manage permissions individually for each app.
    2. He's got a point, if all you are going to download is free apps, forcing you to add credit card doesn't make sense, google play store lets you download free apps without credit card.
    3. Moreover you can always enable pass code for every purchase of paid app, so nobody can accidentally download a paid app. But then again Android has guest accounts/multiple user profiles, so going to the lengths of password management isn't necessary. Just create different user account for your kids. Problem solved.

So Apple going 1125p OLED is plain wrong as it is equivalent to 919p vs. 1200p (effective).

4K will be the sweet spot for pentile OLED displays.

Seriously this is what all iPhone user's say nothing can compete with the "A11 Bionic Chip" lol is that all u guy's have on the S8 really get real. If anything this phone is one huge let down, also if I had to view movie's which a notch on the screen I'd be like wtf. I agree when Steve was alive those we're the day's, since then nothing has changed. Also all of those hand gestures are more confusing for what's meant to be a simple software, "This is the truth Apple relied on Samsung to deliver a home button with a fingerprint scanner within the screen which Samsung couldn't this is why they left it with a all new confusing gesture mess, Think to your selves what do u really think the iPhone has over any Android flagship device, except for the apple logo.

Apple A11 Bionic scores almost two times better than Snapdragon 835 in any results such as AnTuTu, or whatever is it. But it's only on a paper. I've been saw speed test that've been done by Tech Trinkets in YouTube, SD835 in OnePlus 5 with 6GB RAM does a great job on having snappy performance against iPhone 8 Plus. But the iPhone 8 Plus still the winner. 3GB RAM in iPhone 8 Plus have similar multitasking effort with 6GB RAM in OnePlus 5.

That's same in Google Play Store also. If you are okay with ads pestering you based on your info then go ahead and enjoy ur free stuff. Google's main source of income is advertisements. And on what basis Google puts ads in ur phones and apps? The data collected from your usage. Google is earning a lot from those ads and in turn giving apps for free. And it's a fact that good games and apps make their debut in iOS. Apple is not robbing anyone. They are doing business and are promoting the same. If you don't like their ecosystem then don't buy. If you don't/can't want/afford to buy then there are lot of options for you. Apple/any other brand didn't force you buy their products. Regarding that password for every download, imagine what will be your situation when your kid downloads a paid app without your knowledge.

Dearest knowledge seeker enthusiasts + Apple. Undoubtedly iPhone X is a revolution in Apple history. It has to be added that Apple had no alternatives but joining a group of hi ends with new norms and criteria in smartdevice history....And I bet that for these specifications iPhone X Will be the most selling smartdevice at least for 3 years....However still I believe that lack of a dedicated memory slot , audio jack , WiFi direct , dual band ,USB 3.1+otg and 4000 mah battery for the security reasons are the great threat to iPhones security!!!?A recent incident proved that even iPhone X is vulnerable too !!!Nevertheless congratulations to Apple for its greatest effort in innovation and joining Samsung,LG,HTC club and ... in new era of new technology though IPhone X has made for the most HAVES !!! Justice Rights.Omid12Omidvar just writes unbiasedly and fairly only on moral guidelines criteria so as GSMArena....Thanks....

These phones are so expensive....you can hardly eat when you finish purchase it.
I have an S7 and that's good enough for me.

Silver X is the one to get. Checked the space gray iPhone 8 and like the S8 and Note8, a smudge magnet in all black. Felt like glossy plastic of the iPhone 3G/3Gs and Nexus S. I still wouldn't wait in line for one knowing it will have a successor in less than 10 months and only 3gb RAM. Feels like X is a rushed product and with beta features.

Just going to wait for the X's successor. Either A12 or A13 in 2019. The #13 is my lucky number. Apple will rehash the same design for the next few years. The iPhone 6 felt beta with only 1gb RAM and many hated the antenna lines. Then it improved with the 7 series by having darker options, 3gb RAM on the Plus, and fast A10 chip.

Don't fall for the X hype. Feels like the iPhone 4, 5, and 6 hype. A stronger twin will be released 10 months after it and with more RAM and fingerprint sensor on the display.

Dunno if any one else noticed, but the iPhone X has the same quoted battery life as the 8 Plus rather than the 8. That's quite exciting, there might finally be a regular-sized iPhone with good battery life.
