Am I allowed to say I don't like how the screen looks like it has a chunk taken out of it at the top....... that would annoy me.

when the iphone recovers the headphone jack and at least a 3200mAh will be an awesome phone
good front design and an odd looking back camera
still we will se the development of the phone soon
not a fan for over expensive flagships but never the less
a good year for innovation in the world of smartphones

Honestly.... I have never ever really liked Apple do to the fact their phones always look the same. ( in my opinion ), But I have to admit, this phone is pretty nice!!!! And looks stunning!!! ( Thanks to Samsung helping them with the display ).
New features I like:
First: I love how they did the AR function! I think this is a game changer for the industry!!! ( And it's also something I've been wanting to see since the first mention of ar technology ), but being able to play games and display cool inserts to a video while recording is absolutely mind blowing!!! And I can't wait to get my first hands on experience, to test it out!!!
Second: The new animoji feature is totally sick!!!! Just being able to custom adjust your emogi with your facial expressions is absolutely amazing!!!! ( I would however like to see more emoji options than the 12 given ), maybe in future updates???
And last but not least: I am so happy Apple finally went wireless!!!! ( It's about time! No Offense... ), but none the least a great step to the future of iphone.

-cameras are excellent
-4K at 60fps
-slow motion at 1080P 240fps
-Dual rear camera with dual ois far videos
-portrait lighting far studio like photos
-Stero speakers
-IP67 dust and water resistant
-HDR10 certified display
Cons
-Battery life is just 2 Hours more than iphone7
-no Touch ID
-No headphone jack
-No home button
-Rear glass senstive phone if you drop
-rear desgin doesnt look like a premimum phone
-higher price 64GB $999

hmm it's look like a super expensive android to me with a bunch of gimmicks noting new ooh there is facial recognition to it but sadly it failed at presentation and it supports wireless charging hmm also fast charging i think it should have it coz we all know...

It is true that the sensor area looks odd and the back of the phone is not as slick as say the LG V30's.
What is disturbing in this design is that the bottom is bezelless. If there is a place were you need a bezel it is at the bottom, if only for usability reasons. For the same reason that I don't like the zero bezels on the sides (you touch the display while holding the phone), I like no bezel at the bottom even less.

Developing a bezelless contept takes time. While it is true that Xiaomi were first to put a concept phone out there, based on timing you can be certain both Samsung and LG were working on a bezelless design long before the Mi Mix was announced.

But to be fair they have an original bezelless design compared to Samsung and LG. It is going to be impractical (no bezel at the bottom is not a clever move) and it looks ugly, but it is original (also the way they integrate the sensor portion into the status bar).

Least expected from Apple. They made ( copied) Sansung. Unlock. Swipe down. Camera. Infact everything. AR and everything they showcase is already available with Sony. For tenth anniversary it was not at all major uphaul. May be 25 th anniversary they are innovative again ( punn. Intended).

I am going to address the elephant in the room here, which is that iOS still can't drive high resolution displays efficiently from a battery standpoint. No 4K display (2160p), not even 1440p only 1125p???
With its massive display the iPhone X is one of the flagship phone with the smallest pixel density 458ppi vs. 537ppi for the LG V30 or 521ppi for the Note 8.
Based on this it is obvious to me that Apple don't take augmented reality seriously. How would Android fans turn to Apple when they persist in their avoidance of high resolution displays?
LG was able to fit a 3300mAh battery in a really thin device. Why can't Apple finally build a battery in that will allow them to have better autonomy at high resolutions and deliver a more comfortable augmented reality experience?
It could have been a justified choice if they were going to make the phone a battery beast (what everyone is craving for the moment) but they haven't even provided the battery capacity yet, so don't even expect them to use the smaller display resolution to outperform Android in terms of autonomy. Lost opportunity in my opinion.
The Note 8 is too heavy and I don't like the elongated square design that much.
The iPhone X doesn't join the high resolution display club and won't have the crazy batter size that people were hoping for.
Neither have an emphasis on audio quality.
For me it will be either LG V30 or Axon 9. As much as I love the LG V30, I would prefer a dual stereo speaker setup but it will depend on ZTE'S ability to fit them in a bezelless design.
But at least those two brands put on emphasis on audio and microphone quality. What good is great camera if the recorded sound is not even remotely professional grade?
