Just bought one for £40, a 256 GB model. Cracked it’s iCloud, loaded the Apple Arcade (IPAs, ofc, no one’s gonna pay for games on a 40 pound phone), works properly as a browsing/gaming/pastime device, not great as a daily driver for a person with adblocking, site filtering, efficiency in mind. But not because of the phone, which, at only 3GB of RAM, works as fast as a new one ever could, but more because of iOS limitations which apply to all iDevices.

If you are a gamer, especially heavy one, then this phone is a no go. At least go for the XS, please. This phone overheats and will most likely start lagging and the battery won’t last for that long, especially if you game. For me, considering that I just replaced the battery, I get around 4 or maybe 4 and a half hours of SoT. Not that great, not that good. Right now I am on 45% and I’ve used my phone for 1 hour and 50 minutes. Not that great if you ask me.

Afatah Halgame, 09 Nov 2022iPhone X has a very big problem which they don't menti... moreI can assure you that is just a display problem which is known, Apple has offered free display replacements for a very long time, I do not know if they still do. This has been a problem, got handled well by Apple, sucks to suck if you do have it right now only. Try downgrading/upgrading iOS, some iOS versions might be better with that and some might be worse :).

iPhone X has a very big problem which they don't mention here. Screen goes unresponsive and stutters and lags. The screen even sometimes inputs its own commands without you inputing it hence blocking the phone to be used for about an hour.

This goes for all older phones. The iPhone 7 is trending too because it's cheap and people want to get an old cheap Iphone
