Apple's WWDC 2024 invites sent out, iOS 18 with AI in focus

Apple is hosting its annual developers conference (WWDC) on June 10, and the company now began sending out invites. The invite reiterates known details: the event will be held at Apple Park and will start at 10 AM local time (PDT).

The conference is expected to introduce iOS 18 and showcase how Apple plans to integrate AI into its products. We will also learn about the upcoming MacOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and Vision OS versions.

Some devices will feature generative AI, as Apple has confirmed that the M4-powered iPad Air and iPad Pro tablets will have enhanced machine-learning capabilities for AI-based tasks.

Anticipation surrounds iOS 18, touted as "one of the biggest overhauls in iOS history". Safari, Photos, and Notes are expected to be AI-powered, along with enhanced Siri and smart recap notifications.

Some rumors suggested a collaboration with OpenAI to implement ChatGPT in iOS 18 is on the cards, but Apple will more likely look to do things in-house.

huh? M4-Powered iPad Air is not even out (yet)

Well depends on which "Android" you're talking about. If you're talking about Samsung, well it's not much different.
