Apple Music is growing, AppStore reaches new heights, Mario is coming to iOS
Apple announced its Apple Music service has reached 17 million paying subscribers and it contains more than 30 million songs already. For comparison - Spotify has 39 million paying subscribers as of last month.
The AppStore reached a new record with 140 billion app downloads. Apple has already refined its design and is working to remove broken apps.
And to celebrate the fast growing AppStore Apple worked with Nintendo to bring the iconic Mario to iOS. The first game featuring the legendary plumber will be Mario Run, which will launch soon. Super Mario stickers are also coming to iMessage.
