Apple pushes iOS 13.1.2 and iPadOS 13.1.2 alongside watchOS 6.0.1

Just last week, Apple released the first update to iOS 13 which brought several additions like the CPU throttling feature, Shortcuts Automations, Share ETA and an improved volume indicator. Then this past Friday iOS 13.1.1 rolled up to iron out some security and Bluetooth bugs alongside minor improvements to the Safari and Reminders apps.

Now, Apple has released a second update with iOS 13.1.2 which aims to tackle iCloud Backup problems, camera and Bluetooth issues as well as some smaller bugs. Alongside the iPhone update, Apple pushed a small update for iPad OS which tackles similar issues. WatchOS also got an update which aims to fix some watchface issues as well as prevent display calibration data loss.

iOS 13.1.2 update changelog:

  • Fixes a bug where the progress bar for iCloud Backup could continue to show after a successful backup
  • Fixes an issue where Camera may not work
  • Addresses an issue where the flashlight may not activate
  • Fixes a bug that could result in a loss of display calibration data
  • Fixes an issue where shortcuts could not be run from HomePod
  • Addresses an issue where Bluetooth may disconnect on certain vehicles

iPadOS 13.1.2 changelog:

  • Fixes a bug where the progress bar for iCloud Backup could continue to show after a successful backup
  • Fixes an issue where shortcuts could not be run from HomePod

watchOS 6.0.1 changelog:

  • Resolves an issue where the Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse watch face does not speak time
  • Addresses an issue where the calendar complication may not display events
  • Fixes a bug that could result in a loss of display calibration data
