Apple supply normalizing as China production restored
Apple supply is slowly improving as production in China is getting back to normal, according to a report by LoupVentures.
The report interprets the lead times for some of Apple's most sought-after products to gauge improved supply.
The lead times (the time from the start to the finish of an order) for the iPhone 11 64GB, iPhone 11 Pro 64GB, AirPods Pro and AirPods 2nd-gen have improved from their worst on March 4.
The lead time for an iPhone 11 64GB and iPhone 1 Pro 64GB is an average of 2 days (6.7 days at its worst on March 4), the lead time for AirPods Pro and AirPods 2nd-gen is 7.4 days (10.6 days on March 4).
Of course the improvement in lead times also has to do with decreased demand caused by lockdowns in western markets. However with the the return to normal work of Chinese factories will definitely mean that Apple will be able to meet the demand when it returns to regular levels.

This pandemic could last many months and even after, the economic recovery will be slow. A strong recession is in sight. Apple should expect very to ultra low sales this year.
