SPEK, 10 Nov 2014the internal memory is not 4gb as speculated.Were you able to get anywhere with your memory problems with Archos 40b?

I agree with other posters - very poor memory - it would only appear to have 1GB not 4GB as advertised. I was only able to download 2 apps (facebook and whatsapp) when I started to get error messages that there was insufficient space on the device. I cannot download apps to SD card.
I have tried contacting their customer service / support department and no-one has come back to me.
