used about a week.
it is good device.
with android 4.1 JB. maybe less or no lagness.
comes with lousy camera but got good AF.(good for capturing notes, text).
=======================================
games; Real Racing 3 :- good no lag at default, lag but playable when ultra high setting graphic.
temple run :- slow at startup. but smooth even at high setting graphic.
=======================================
movies:- with clear IPS screen bring good clarity overall... (ok,missed my amoled sgs3 screen so much)
run 1080p movie natively!!! (no struggling at all.)
but when handling 10bit 1080p AAC animes seriously lag(forgiven bcos even at my amd turion x2 laptop also lag)...
some how enough to play 720 10bit animes..
Sound:- all mono but loud and clear.
========================================
fast GPS, still figure out how to send files via bluetooth,Hsdpa+ connectivity is good and functional,
sipping battery like good girl. no stylus but touch is very responsive.
=========================================
cons :- app2sd not supported yet. maybe not rooted
- can't OTG yet.
~detect intel's WiDi services... lot of potentials there.
~ hoping asus or xda team can port-in windows RT..

I read that this fonepad will be launch in April 2013. They announce it in Feb 2013 and is now already the 3rd week of April, yet it is still not available in Asia. Very slow. One might lose patience to see the tablet phone.

Titanum grey is so common and a boring color. Why they don't want to produce white and other more attractive colors. Attractive designs and colors can enhance the sale of the gadget.
Does the package comes with a free cover for this fonepad? Otherwise, we have to go and hunt for a suitable cover can be quite difficult. This is not like ipad which you can easily find all sorts of design and color covers everywhere.

Are they exporting White/Pink/gold to Singapore and when will it be available?
Is the 3mp rear camera with auto focus lens?

The intel processor is just as fast as the normal dual core. I'm quite happy with the camera. Asus is giving a good quality camera. The photos are just sharp provided the lighting is adequate because it has no flash. The auto focus is really good. The phone is load and clear, no complain. I'm absolutely satisfied with this tablet-phone. High quality and yet affordable. If you feel odd using it as a phone, get a bluetooth ear piece. I'm ok with it. Later when moreandmore people using it, you will feel nothing by then. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who needs a tablet-phone. The only disadvantage is lack of accessories like a case to protect it.

i tried asphalt 7 on this and it runs good, nice frame rates.. i found only 1 incompatible games with this phone which is Chaos Rings 1, it just wont run.. but its fine, i have another tablet for gaming:) but it does not means this phablet cant run high end games either.. other normal apps and utilities runs fine.. battery life is excellent, standby time can reach 4-5 days. for my normal usage it can last 1-2 days.. built quality is okay.. it comes with a storage of 8gb but the system will take almost half of it, means will be left around 4.5gb.. camera so-so.. android jellybeans.. overall 4.5/5

Did you know??
If you look for tabs with 7 inches with at least a 4250 mAh battery, there are three with voice and sms available...
THIRD PLACE goes to the BLU Touch Book 7.0 with 4250 mAh and a cool 480 x 800 pixels display!!
SECOND PLACE goes to the Plum Debut with also 4250 mAh battery and a pretty much ok 600 x 1024 pixels display.
And the first place goes to the Asus Fonepad!! Also the single Intel CPU (with HyperThreading tech!) within should be more battery friendly than a dual or quad ARM one...
For me the battery is vital for any wireless device since even the most powerful (or expensive) wireless device becomes a funny hammer without a source of energy.

I am very satisfied with my Fonepad. Sometimes it is laggy but this is the common problem for android system, overall performance is reasonable. Battery life is considered good for light usage, I have been using it for 23 hours and there is still 24% of battery left. (surfing, facebook, light games, reading comics most of the time). Camera quality not so good but we knew this already. Tried making phone call and it is as clear as normal phone does. Worth my penny!
