Therefore, no; I don't think upgrading to the latest version of Android 4.4.2 will do anything to the camera itself.

Fantastic device
Great performance ..nice display ..neat build quality
There is a minor drawback that the camera may take poor photos in poor lighting conditions
but all in all that is a great tab that delivers damn-good android experience :)

To expand on what I said before, I don't know if it's a good idea to purchase the Nexus 7 (Generation 2) now. Is Asus coming out with a superior version of this device the Summer of 2014?
If so, then purchasing the 2013 would be pointless.

and kindly check all features of nexus7 2nd gen and xolo before saying xolo is better. :D

xolo play tegra note is much better.... fr 18k it has beast inside it tegra 4...! the resolution of tegra note is 720p so fps are more better in games....! one downside is 1gb ram..! nd i think nvidia will throw ota updates..! but google product will hav update 1st..... tegra 4 it will blow snapdragon s4 pro with adreno 320.... ! sry fans but this is the truth...! in many benchmarks tegra 4 has beaten snapdragon 800 so S4 pro chip is farr behind..! tegra note has nvidia directstylus too.! ;)

Everything will look a lot more crisp and clear on this tablet with that resolution. Even small letters you will have no problems reading/seeing it. High resolution display for a tablet is very important. Much better for your eyes. Less needed for zooming in and out.
