utsav, 02 Dec 2013How can I use what'sapp in N7 16 GB plzzz helppp meeTo use Whatsapp: Install Go SMS Pro app from Google Play Store, and after that install Whatsapp. Whatsapp will ask for your country and mobile number, insert your mobile number in the space provided(like I use a Nokia 101 and a Nexus 7, my sim is in my Nokia and I provided whatsapp with the number that I was using in my Nokia). You will receive a verification code on the number you provided(your other phone). Enter the code on whatsapp and BOOM

Noahz, 02 Dec 2013ohh.. Hmm, i'll download MX player then. anyway aneef are y... morePerformance with Kit kat is a bit better than Jelly Beans. Apps load a bit faster (I feel that) and the battery has been optimized. With JB I got around 1 day with normal usage (by normal usage I mean playing games twice/thrice a day, use viber,whatsapp, do some browsing, play songs for three to four hours) but with KitKat the battery life is enhanced, Im getting around day plus 10 to 15 hours(normal usage). Now I don't have to charge my N7 everyday. Plus the Google Experience Launcher with transparent nav and status bars is too awesome. Without the Launcher, you won't notice much differences (visual wise) b/w JB and KK. Finally, I had some issues with random reboots (almost once or twice a day) with JB, which have resolved in Kit Kat.

It doesn't play the audio from the video files that need DTS codec, but that problem can be solved easily by manually loading the codec from XDA website. Just Google DTS codec for MX player.

It supports USB OTG with "USB OTG DISK EXPLORER PRO" application, which is available in Play Store. It doesn't even need rooting your tablet.

Since Google doesn't want external memory in stock android, they doesn't offer OTG on nexus devices. But after rooting, you can access OTG by XDA MODS.

Which tab?
N7.2 for $179 or Asus Memo HD7 for $119?
Bought both but can't decide.
N7 has better screen and is quicker.
Memo feels better in hand, has softer colors, and has 32GB mem slot.

Bought this tab yesterday.
Excellent display, fast processing speed, good for video calling and gaming.
Best Buy.. Go for it. 9.5 out of 10.

Pros: Display is sweet. High res makes every detail visible. Sharpest display with awesome viewing angle.
Sound quality is also great to meet its display.
Cons: No mobile call facility.
No expandable memory. Bezels should have been slimmer.

I am planning to bye this tablet but I am concern only about one thing in some reviews it is mentioned that it supports USB OTG (or USB Host) but in some it is mentioned that it dose not support OTG, I have even found some user's review saying that there is BUG in the device due to which it dose not read external storage devices i.e. pen drives etc., Please I want reply from the actual user of the device and not from some one just reading the review of experts and commenting on others query after that.
