I bought one today, it's very smooth and works great.
I bought the LTE version. There is no calling feature. It is just a tablet.

Any Nexus 7 LTE (2013) owner here? Wanted to know if the LTE version can make a normal GSM phone calls. What i know with Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7/8 3G/4G versions are capable to make normal GSM calls.
Nexus 7 LTE will be the best and the most powerful device if it allows us to make normal GSM call with sim cards. Imagine a 350$ device with a phone/tablet, 1080p HD IPS and Quad-cor Processor. Will be the best everyday carry single device which can do everything for you.
