Stock Android is butter smooth on quad core and 2GB RAM and the difference between smoothness on iOS and Android is almost invisible. Yes, Android does need 2GB RAM, but that 2nd gig of RAM really counts in terms of performance.

Hey guys, did anyone realize that the original Nexus 7 had a bigger battery than the 2nd generation even though the newer Nexus 7 has a higher resolution screen that will theoretically need more battery life. Besides the fact that the processor would handle the battery better than previous generations (not by much), capacity should be going up when we advance in to the future, not go pummeling down.

actually you guys people too spec-minded and forget that different OS (in this case android and ios) can not be measured just like that.
the actual perfomance is what we need.
don't get me wrong, i am not saying nexus 7 2nd generation's perfomance is beneath ipad mini. i just want to correct this guy's wrong perception
