I have an Asus j501.I bought it in wellcom manila.I cant use it now bcoz there is problem with the flex.I called all the branches of wellcom here in maila but they said that they dont have available flex.And top of it they are saying that the unit is already obsolete.I bought this phone for almost 14K and yet cant use it just bcoz of that piece of part of that phone.Please help me where can i buy that flex ?

well... i'm having a good time with my asus j501...
easy to use... and i'm able to use its functions 100% with my laptop & pc... A phone must have for budget techie ppl like me...

as always.. a typical taiwan fon and china fons..
this ain't a nice fon if you're up for a quality fon.. if you like features and have lots of money to waste then you're for this..
but what had happened to mine, the flex had a problem till the screen got nothing to show but a white light.. so guys ASUS is a computer brand.. they're still experimenting on new phones so don't buy this brand yet for a Cellphone purposes..just computers..
im disappointed :X

whaaa.. im having problems on my j206 fone', pretty much like the ones posted below..! when i try sliding the fone up, a blank white screen just pops up! and i'll end up restarting the freakin fone.. so i then resort into leaving it "slided-up" all day.. or until i finished up texting..
gaah! my fone probably just reached its limit and worth. after just a year of using it..
im starting to regret not buying a nokia phone instead.. since nokia fones are most likely the toughest fones out there', pang matagalan talaga.!
ryt now', those fast evolving new fones out there may have the rage on high tech features.
but certainly lacks the good ole toughness! sheesh.. DISPOSABLE TALAGA..!

yah dis phone is such a headache..last time when u go to the site of asus u find it there but after i email them about my problem and telling that their service center here in manila the wellcom don't know how to fix the problem of their phone and also after they already find out that the phone they released the j501 is not perfect,you cannot find it anymore to their site. the support they promise?its all a lie, it sucks....

to all the people encountering problem with asusj501, you don't know how to take care of your cp that's why your encountering problems... i've had this phone for almost a year now...i even dropped it several times but not even a scratch on it...promise.. to all the people encountering prob try going to sm megamall, find asus world...

im also having the same problem with my asus j206 sliding phone. i used it for merely 7 months. i was amazed at first because of the loud sound, and nice camera. but in its fourth month, the speaker seems to fail, and it always say, decoding error then it go back to the default settings. now, my phone screen turns black whenever i slide it up. then i need to restart the phone to see the screen again. i brought it to almost all wellcom service center here in manila but unfortunately, they all could not help me. they say its the flex but they are always out of stock. im very disappointed. it is like a cheap disposable phone.

don't buy at wellcom sucat, they cannot help you when you have encountered some technical problems...

I know that you will encounter also what I have experiencing with this Asus phone...messed up...
Believe me...
Tell your friends not to buy this phone...
