I think this phone rocks. I don't think there is any other phone as good as or better than this one.

This is a sturdy mobile. Faster than the HTC 3G touch.
user friendly, Stylish, Cost effective.
It dosent have the easy touch flow unlike HTC.

Is the white P552w available in Singapore? Asus Malaysia does not carry the white one because according to the sales rep, the 'finishing' is not as good as the black.

hi, anyone know where can i get the usb to 3.5mm convertor at malaysia?
i more thing... about my p552,, the battery drain so fast,,i try to find software to downclock the processor,,but those software like xcpuscalar and pocket hack master cant support,, i read it only can suppport till pxa272 xscale processor.

Hi guys can any one tell me how can i change my contacts settings...
Now i have 2 contact details for each contact its like 1 from SIM and 1 from Phone contact, now i need only phone contact on my contact list.

Yup, it works with 16gb sandisk microSDHC, class 4. The transfer speed is really amazing. 20s for 200mb.

I had purchased ASUS P320 model about 4 moths back. I m very happy with its performace. Also i m very happy with the Asus service & theri quck reply.
I contacted them for software through which i wil be able to read the PDF files.

Is this product compatible with 16gb microsdhc? I called up asus, the staff explained that 8gb microsdhc had been officially tested with p552w, but not for 16gb yet; they went on to elaborate that the are no complains about the 16gb microdchc so far.
Has anyone attempted using 16gb on this device before? Are there any compatibility issues? A zillion thanks in advance!!!

ks, 21 Mar 2009I bought ASUS P552W in March 2009 very recently from KL. I ... moretry these settings to increase battery life.
1. start menu > settings > system > cpu mode > power saving mode
2. start menu > settings > system > external gps > access > disable manage gps automatically
3. do a google search and download no data. or you can go to this link : http://www.modaco.com/content/pocket-pc-software/246171/new-free-utility-nodata/
4. also try changing some values in registry.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\AsyncMac1\Parms]
Default value type and value are
“DisablePowerManagement”=dword:1
Change to
“DisablePowerManagement”=dword:0
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\Irsir1\Parms]
Default value type and value are
“DisablePowerManagement”=dword:1
Change to
“DisablePowerManagement”=dword:0
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\PPTP1\Parms]
Default value type and value are
“DisablePowerManagement”=dword:1
Change to
