cAN ANY BODY SUPPLY ME BATTERY OF ASUS P565 SBP-19
PART NO: 07G016013750 3.7v 1300 mAh /. No body is able to supply this battery , i dont understand why the hell theese asus people sell the product which they cant support .I am sorry to say very bad service from asus and disappointed with their services and will never buy asus product.

not a worth buying phone at all. and not at a user friendly phone. its 3mp camera is hell waste. dont expect any good photos or video recordings. its gps doesnt work at all. wifi doesnt connect. internet connection is only on airtel network. u dont find any applications for it internet.
its having a horrible battery backup.
if any of its components get corrupted u wont find service centres and even in any big mobile shop u wont
find service and even if u get it it will b really very expensive for you

Is a good phone to have phone.Has got many option to use but there are no "how to use guidlines". Battery life is very minimum. Not so get in catching network signal and ofcourse no re-sell value!!!

i'm being offered the phone in brand new condition for 8k.. is it advisable to buy it and is it possible to install windows mobile 6.5??

i have bought this phone 6 months back.i m contented with the functionality of mobile apart from the fact tht many applications(keeping this in mind tht not many applications are now available for a windows phone) fails to initialise in this phone,like if i tried installing 'moto gp pro 2010' game..which is a very playful and interesting game..the windows mobile reports an error while as i try launching the app .
apart from this the functionality of the wind-m 6.1 is gud & quite simple nothing to complain about.but i have never ever tried any android phone.
there is a mixed reactions and reviews of the users who have posted their reviews over here.so go for buying this phone if u get it in cheaper prices or if u got to pay higher buy it on ur own risk

Hi. I bought a Asus P565 windows based mobile phone on 08/04/2010. For the fir few months it worked fine but after that it started giving problems like anything. Firstly, its heating problem and ultra low battery problem knocked me out. After this 3 times (yes three times!!!) i had to get its display replaced due to the continuous appearance of black patches over it. And finally the problem of heating without anything comes into its role. Whenever i insert the battery it starts heating up even if the handset is switched off. i went to the service center they said that the mother board is short circuited and just because my handset is over by one year and few days they strongly suggested me to go for a new handset as the cost of the mother board, which is 80% of the cost of handset, will have to be bear by me. I AM TOTALLY PISSED OFF WITH THE QUALITY AND AFTER SALES SUPPORT OF ASUS. AND I WILL STRONGLY RECOMMEND EVERYBODY (IN MY SOCIAL CIRCLE AS WELL AS OVER THE INTERNET , BLOGS, SOCIAL NETWORKING WEBSITE) NOT TO GO FOR ANY ASUS PRODUCT.. :(

How can i increse phont size for the incoming call deisply. I have to search for reading glasses the moment I get a ring or just pick up the call without knowing beforehand whome I am talking to. Can somebody help me to increse the phont size ?
I have tried everything , I am thinking of buying anather handset just for this particular problem.

I have been using this hand set Asus P565 since last Sept.Its having very poor battery back up.I am repending now.

I' m using Asus P565 from March 2009. Generally I'm very content with it.
Its basic advantages:
-very good proccessor speed
-many useful applications installed and unlimited ability to install others
-unlimited phonebook/messages
-very good contact management
-fully configured menu-appearance-themes-profiles, etc., according to your personal needs
-accepted photo and video quality
-good enough gps and wi-fi device
-flexible conectivity with other devices via bluetooth or/and USB
-durable construction (just a few negligible scratches on device body and no scratches on display, after various inattentioned drops)
Its basic disadvantages:
-Battery duration too small. Need to charge every two days (with 1.5 hours talking time per day, no wifi nor gps activated, all charges made according to the manufacturer's instructions). Now, after two years, I'm charging every day, sometimes twice per day (depended on the usage), that is unaccepted for a business mobile.
-Speaker volume not loud enough. Couldn't hear the phone ringing in a public bus, even with its loudest ringtone.
-No FM radio
-No accelerometer

just see the processer speed buddy and if u want just install windows 6.5 or android the phone will be completly changed in interface hence there is a problem in heating the phone but just google the comparison of asus p565 vs htc touch and u will know that how good phone u are using still love this phone more than my iphone 3gs ..
