Odd I have mine updated to 11.10.7.11 like u guys but I have no problem. Been like 3 days afterupdate nothing happen

A, 28 Jan 2015try reset phone, then try updating google play service.Tried that also. But unfortunately all google apps including its google play services processes stop working. When tried to sign in to any Google apps it shows unable to connect to google server. Latest firmware update causes all this problems. Brought to Asus Service Center and they said they'll need to format the whole android.

Anyone who bought Asus PAdfone S recently, do not update with the new asus firmware. Mine work fine until i did that, now no google apps works. All crashed when tried to sign in. Want to bring it to the service centre today. Only 4 days I used this phone already got problems.

After buying this phone i did not have time to install even one app as i am plagued with this issue. When tried to sign in all google apps such as playstore, youtube, maps, hangouts all crashed. Regreting to install the new firmware 11.10.7.11.

Just brought phone,nice phone,but after i update new firmware the phone cannot detect my wifi.i reset my modem many time,seem cannot detect.the other wifi he detect.help

depend on what u want in a phone.
Zenfone 2
-bigger screen size
-dual sim
-more ram if 4GB
-better front cam
Padfone S
-dragon inside yoo!
-if u want to use the docking system XD
other than that, their spec is quite similar.

Bought it just now for RM849. Very Nice phone. Waiting eagerly while phone is charging to test the phone.

Bought it last year.
Now highly suspected Asus recond (they used the term "reworked") the padfone X and sell to Malaysia and Indonesia ppl. Padfone X was not compatible with Qi wireless charging. Therefore, Malaysia Padfone S also not working with Qi charging.

I've used Padfone S (recently bought) for 2 weeks now. Why I have not had any problems with the unit like others. Many comments about battery; well, if you use it non-stop for hours, you should plugin the charging cable at the same time.
It's not a desk top computer, you know?
Don't expect it's going to do everything for you, for the price and specs.

Anonymous, 21 Jan 2015Does the battery drains 60% without you doing anything or what?Mine works fine. Leaving it idle overnight when going to sleep, battery went down couple of percentages, - from 100% to 93-94%.
Everything works and works. Lucky one I guess.

Do you bought the first batch of Asus phone, which mean you buy instantly prior to the launch. Asus 1st batch may contain certain problems which will be rectified on the previous delivery.

Where's the review man. Padfone X got one , why not Padfone S. Truly cheap phone with 801 SOC unlike so called cheap phones with mid premium price and feeble SOC.(MOTO G, Nexus 7 and etc.)
