I am using this phone for 4 months.. The phone rocks but there are some problems like black screen issue, the speakers are not equally balanced and the earpiece speaker is lot less loud , the front camera blurs background slightly, there could be an IR blaster in the top side, the notification led light could be more colorful.. otherwise everything is perfect..

Well if anyone know about the issues battery drain very fast , does anyone know how to solve it? Right now I've been using this phone from 2020 august till now with the battery capacity from 6000 decreased to 5500mah in aida64 app. Even i let the phone do nothing only connected on wifi still drop fast for me for example eat around 5-6% for idle with always on display in 3-4 hours.
Also the software updates is available but idk if it's gonna update to android 12 or just fixing the android 11 , because I don't want to update to android 12 since I've been reading old comments that said android 12 sucks.

In case you stuck on Android 10 and you never received OTA update here ar my advice and step's to go on Android 11 the last update.
Short story: I buy a second hand ROG 3 tencent edition with WW android 10 with no OTA update for me because seller already fash CH rom with WW rom(World wide)
After that i download from oficial Asus suport page the update 78, moved to internal storage and restart the phone and updated successful. After that i download the last android 10( read the description on Asus page) and updated successful. After that i download the first android 11 and again updated successful.
And again i download the last android 11 and everything is ok.
I also did a factory reset just do be sure i am not carrying any bugs.
I did stay to much on Android 10 to see if battery life is ok, but on Android 11 with 144/120 refresh rate my SOT wasn't to god. 4-5 maxim hours which is not great and also standby drain over night is from 100% to 93%.
This is the 5 days with android 11 and i managed to get the right spot for battery life. Just make a custom profile in battery section and choose 90 refresh rate.
Now i am ok with battery life on Android 11 with this steps
Custom battery mod
Refresh rate 90h
Dark mod enabled all the time

Please teach me how to upgrade to android 11, when i check it in settings the system says that i have upgraded to the newest update.

As of 2022, Asus only supports one telco for VoLTE/VoWIFI in Malaysia where this phone is concerned. - Maxis. I am very frustrated that Asus is not supporting other telcos in this country, made worse that the government has forced shutdown of all 3G networks. Maxis is the absolute worst in the country- sure, their network coverage is the best, but they're also the most expensive, with incredibly ridiculously priced call and messaging plans, and the price just keeps going up every year. My mom ported her cellphone away from them due to the fact after being a longtime Maxis subscriber but can no longer handle the financial burden of their pricey plans due to retirement.
Asus needs to add support for Digi, U Mobile, Celcom and other telcos for Malaysia. Now.

I've been using rog3 16gb ram 512gb rom global edition for 1year and 4 months and still no problem at all, i've read a lot of issues about the rog3 but i did'nt experience even little problem with mine, maybe some of the users got their unit that has factory defective, coz not all got issues with their rog3 when they bought it, or maybe depends on how they use it sorry to say that!

Yes, I agree that user experience is not good. I bought Asus RogPhone-3 just 4 month back and faced lot of issue.
Major issue: On 20th Oct while using phone my phone went into some process for 15 minutes (same like when phone starts) after that it is dead. Service Center has mention that motherboard is gone. Still waiting from them to fix it. But now I don't know what all other issue I'll face in future.

So disappointed with the most recent os update. Use to be able to hold power button for either screenshot or record and have now changed screenshot to a three finger pulldown on the screen. The huge advantage of the button method is you don't have to worry about the screen moving which you do have to worry about as you start to drag down. Major disappointment. However really like the phone otherwise
