New security update just rolled out. So far so good with this phone. The camera is good, Sound is excellent, no motherboard problem. Cellular Signal is also very good. I got signal as easily as my friend's iPhone 11 Pro Max.

hello just bought a rog phone6 yesterday, and am afraid of having the issue that everyone gets on there rog6 { CAMERA ISSUES AND FINGERPRINT FAILURE}
i stop using the stock camera app instead using a third party camera to avoid this problem is this a good method???
anyone facing issues on chinese Rom CN_33.0610.2810.173??????

I’m thinking to buy ROG 6 but which would be better ? ROG 6 or Xiaomi 13T Pro, I’ve been thinking about this too much… from the benchmark test Xiaomi 13T Pro is better. The price is about the same in my country please help..

I got a new, sealed, 512gb ROG 6 and have been using it for 2 weeks.
Biggest issues are lots of pop up ads in several apps and battery life is far less than expected.
Initially i was down to 32% after 9 hours.
I changed to the lowest battery use option and it was at 15% after 15 hours, a big improvement.
I changed back to middle battery use option and until today it's also been about 15 hours to 10-15%. Today I've changed to lowest option " ultra durable" to try to get better life again.
But my expectations of a new 6000mah battery phone is 30-36hrs, since the new 5000mah phones I've had before have reached 20-24 when new. Granted, phone might have lost 1-5% per month after manufacture, but still ...
Games I've uploaded are solitaire, royal Match, star Trek timelines, worldly. Everything is smooth. Screen and speakers are good.
In fact speakers are fantastic. I've played music and I'm hearing some tunes, noises etc I never noticed from my Samsung a72, Samsung s20fe 5g before. It's also louder at max volume.
Other downer is the camera. Actual features are good. Actual image reminds me of a Motorola I had in 2008.
Wide angle and videos are better. But camera images from every phone I've had since my Samsung S4 zoom are much better.
It's such a pity. If the camera were ZenFone level, this would be state of the art level phone. All phones at top level are 4nm CPUs, currently.
So in general I have had to adapt this phone, and still struggle, but love generally using it for normal use, playing games and listening to music and watching vids.
But if I travel, for first time in years might need to carry another camera .

Honestly I want to buy Xiaomi 13T at first, because budget issue and all around spec, but there price xiaomi 13T not make sense anymore, IDR 8.000.000, so now i choose to pick ROG 6, its fair about the spec and the price same, lmao,.

I bought a rog phone 6 in the month of August 2022 and now it's 2024. I use this rog 6 as a daily and also for gaming, the performance of this phone is too good, and the performance is amazing from the beginning when I bought it until now. But I'm a bit puzzled why many people say rog phones are so bad?

does anyone know how to distinguished if its a tencent china rom or global rom, i saw some seller selling it as a global version but it was just tencent version flashed with global rom

battery life is amazing
Performance is amazing
But damn, becareful turns out have a lot of problem I just got mine and after 4 day the camera and fingerprint dead
Better buy other like red magic or ROG 7 but do some research first
