Asus ROG Phone 8 Ultimate certified with 65W charging

The Asus ROG Phone 8 series is expected to launch sometime in 2024 and we now have a certification listing for the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate which reveals it will offer 65W fast charging. The latest certification listing from China’s 3C agency shows the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate (ASUS_AI2401_A) will offer the same charging speeds as its predecessors. The bundled charges will support the PPS PD3.0 standard and the QC5 protocol. The ROG Phone 8 (ASUS_AI2401_A) and ROG Phone 8 Pro (ASUS_AI2401_E) recently appeared on the IMEI database.

The ROG Phone 8 series is expected to launch with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, plenty of RAM and a high refresh rate AMOLED screen. The software side is expected to feature Android 14 with ROG UI on top. We don’t have any other details for now so we’ll have to wait for more details to pop up.
