Other than that would be a great (but overpriced) option. With overheating issue it is crazy annoying, especially for the price you are to pay to get one..

Amir-hpi, 25 Apr 2022Hello How many years will this phone receive the Android update?Qualcomm promised 4 years of regular security update but it seems as of right now its latest security patch is still from Jan 2022. And of course the phone is still on Android 11 with no announced plans to upgrade to Android 12. Looking at how they're struggling to provide even regular security patches, I definitely don't have high hopes for them supporting this phone across multiple Android versions.

No longer impressive: No SD card slot, No 3.5mm jack, they no longer build phones for those that like to customize, now it's a cage that you can't get out of. Sony Xperia 1 version 4 has it all: Snapdragon 8 Gen1, SD slot, 3.5mm jack. My next phone will be Sony!

These are actually being offered to regular Qualcomm employees for data usage analysis and beta testing... not just PR people. It's a real insider program for volunteers.

For this price, I can buy three middle-range Samsung Galaxy A72 phones, which I think are no worse than this device. I can also upgrade every year to the newer Samsung Galaxy phones - the A73, A74 and A75.
